initial fears

of broken fingers and/or hand after yesterdays crash have subsided...a little. was riding the trials course and went over the bars while making good time through dead pet. hand hit the ground, fingers wrenched back, lots of pain. fingers seem to have regained full motion without much pain but the hand isn't doing so well. with sylvan island this weekend, trials next and transiowa the following weekend i'm a bit nervous. can't really carry a tray at work or really grab anything with the hand. gonna go see the doc today. willing to give up sylvan island for healing time, don't wanna miss the time trials and already considering swtiching to a flat bar set up on the fisticuff for trans cause i'm not sure i can handle drop bars. who knows...maybe its just bruised and will be fine in a couple days.
