getting ready

this week was planned to be a bit of a taper week which is a good thing with what the weather's doing outside. took sunday off. rode trails with o'gara on monday. rain yesterday so started getting organized for ouachita. snowing today. wtf. might get out for a short gravel ride but otherwise tying up loose ends before packing thursday and leaving friday. hopefully get in a group ride thursday night. need to pick up a couple things at the shop and get the tool kit/spare parts organized. swung by j's place yesterday and he hooked me up with some post-race beers to take with. big thanks there. if you're in town check him out. cold beer less than half a mile from the river trail. not much else happening...

You doing the 60 or 80? What gear you running? The trails are premo right now, (photos on my blog) rain won't affect anything other then the flow of the many creek crossings. Bring your meaty tire's, no Small Block 8's, Nano's or any of that low profile shit. Good luck bro Ouachita is a very fun race...I've done it 5 times:)

Peace

thanks. doing the 60. as of right now i'm planning to run 32x19 but considering going back to the 18 cuz of all the gravel. was planning to run nano rear/weirwolf front until you said this. let me know what's up with the tires. emails theshockstar@hotmail.com if that's easier. saw the pics...crazy deep water crossings?
